Achieving a high-specific-energy lithium-carbon dioxide battery by implementing a bi-side-diffusion structure

This work designs a cell structure with a bi-directional gas diffusion layer, analyzes the influence of electrolyte infiltration state on the mass transfer process, and reveals the correlation between component selection and working conditions with energy density and power density. This work is favorable for not only constructing high-specific-energy Li-CO2 batteries but also guiding the pack and module design.
