Revealing the missing puzzle piece of concentration in regulating Zn electrodeposition

          Combining electrochemical testing, morphological characterization and multi-scale simulation, this work first analyzes the competition between thermodynamics and kinetics during zinc electrodeposition and clarifies the morphology evolution process caused by concentration changes. Furthermore, the effect of DOD on zinc electrodeposition morphology, crystal structure and cycling stability was revealed. Finally, the effectiveness and importance of concentration-adjusted electrodeposition morphology was once again verified through relaxation.
